John Thomas Roshto, DDS

Dr. John Thomas Roshto is a native of Central, Louisiana. Growing up, he attended Central Private School before moving on to LSU Baton Rouge where he met his wife, Sarah, and graduated with a Bachelors Degree of Science. Afterwards, he pursued his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Upon his graduation from the LSU School of Dentistry, he became a Captain in the Louisiana National Guard, tasked with ensuring the medical readiness of Louisiana's Guardsmen. Dr. Roshto is committed to excellence in dentistry and was the 2018 president of The Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association. Dr. Roshto is the proud owner of Central Oaks Dental and passionately provides comprehensive and gentle dental care to his patients.​

General Dentist

I was born and raised in Pride, and I spent a lot of my childhood in Central. I attended St. Alphonsus and am a member of the church there, I played in the CAYL baseball league and enjoy being active in many other community activities. I attended Catholic High School, in Baton Rouge, before receiving my Bachelor's of Science in Biology with a Minor in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. Then I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU Dental School in New Orleans.

Being back home and closer to family and friends is very exciting for me and my wife, Alyce. We were married in December of 2020, and have a precious chocolate lab named Briar. In my free time I enjoy spending my time with my wife and family, trying new restaurants, fishing and being outdoors, and volunteering with various charities which are close to my heart.

I am excited and driven to provide exceptional, compassionate, and gentle care for our patients. I strive to treat each patient like family, and to ensure that their visit is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. I am looking forward to making even more connections with our great community, and I look forward to growing in Central!
